Why does Overclockers not sell real gaming chairs ?

You're talking about high end office chairs.

I don't think it would be worth the effort to compete on office chairs with the specialists and big office retailers. It's not just a case of stocking it because, it has to be possible to get a good margin on it and/or sell enough to make the profit needed. Have to do that while not being a major player in office furniture in the first place and therefore not likely to be visited by people looking for office chairs.

They're got the niche market of GAMING chairs that the mainstream won't touch with a bargepole but I believe it is suitable because of the audience that is attracted to this computer hardware site.

hmmm so just looked back on my orders. spent £200 on a chair i absolutely hate, vertagear sl4000. The barely padded back is so uncomfortable.

Found a good condition leather chair on facebook market place that looks mega comfy for £40, i'll then sell the vert for £75 i think

Interesting, I've had my SL4000 for ... 3? god.. nearly 4 years and I find it comfortable for the most part -- I have thick thighs (squats for days bruh) so the lipped sides of the seat dig in a little sometimes - sounds like a me issue though.

Had my Herman Miller Aeron (with optional headrest) for 13 years now, and it still looks and feels the same as when I bought it. It gets serviced every few years and is one of the best purchases I ever made.

I don't have one at home but I use Herman Miller Aerons at work. Love them. Best chairs ever for long sitting sessions.

I'm thinking of getting a Steelcase Gesture, salesman looked at me like i had crawled in off the street because i wanted to look at a £850 chair without wearing a suit.

Where do you get it serviced? I should look into getting my Mira serviced.

I'm at a total loss looking and reading about these chairs. Worst of all these all seem to be this fake leather.

While the noble pu leather chairs are nice (hard wearing, more breathable than most) they also have real leather options for each model - even Nappa leather options if your pockets are deep enough.

Personally I love the feel of the real leather and can't help but feel it will last longer (i.e forever if looked after).

I would say Noble are one of the best "gaming" chairs but executive chairs beat them for long term sitting comfort, its all about personal likes.
