Didn't want to actually name anyone at this point but thats pretty much the only OPC near me ;) I did contact the service manager via email after they had closed on the Saturday and in fairness he did phone me on the Monday but I had no signal as I was working up at Kielder , he left a voicemail saying he'd picked up my email and that he would phone back but as of yet he hasn't :(

Im pretty annoyed tbh, I spent £550 for a oil and air filter service and wheel alignment I could have done for less than half the price and they didn't even check the levels...…..

I'd be pretty peeved too. It's why I went to a specialist this time round as I'm sick of shoddy main dealer service. Got full service inclu belts and clutch fluid for 600.

Yeah i spoke with Dean he was great I was totally honest with him saying my car was at the opc for service and they had told me it needs this and that, so asked him for a price before they hit me with theirs :) needless to say it was about 1/3 the cost and im going in tuesday

The design looks superbly clean!
The width increase and weight increase though is a big shame, one of the biggest hindrance with any car these days is pushing them hard fast on a b-road, as cars become wider, that becomes harder to do so and your confidence reduces due to the width.

997 just like BMW E46 were kind of the perfect size for these powerful GT/Sport cars, now they are becoming wide and heavy, makes them harder to enjoy, even though they are vastly more capable, albeit on a race track.

On the road I can have just as much fun if not more fun in my little Clio 172 cup, simply because I can drive it 10/10th's everywhere.

Not sure about them all being widebody but I’ve got my preorder in anyway, looks very swish and better than I thought it would. Mega quick too in 4S form. The turbo / any hybrids will be mental!

My 964 isn’t going anywhere for when a good old analog thrash is needed!

Haha there were a few, fortunately missed them all, car now sorted, all done and dusted for about 1/3 the cost of OPC, without trawling through all the posts what do you drive?

Glad they sorted it and you dodged those monster holes!

As the car will be 4 years old next year, I have just booked its major service which is coming out at £1100 ~ with the MOT.

The fixed price service is £630 for a major service, brake fluid is £95, MOT is £54 and the reset is consumables and a drive belt check.
