Had my Antec Signature 850 since 2008 , been looking for a second one for several years now but no luck.
What other Antec PSU would be comparable to this.
Presume now 10 years later that 4 x independent 25A 12v rails are the norm

A single 12v rail is the norm these days although there are still some that have multi 12v rails but they are the minority now.

I suppose the Antec High Current Gamer Gold 850w would be the modern equivalent although it is much better than the signature was. Seasonic builds them for Antec and it's basically a Seasonic Focus Plus Gold in a different case and a different fan. The problem at the moment is that the Actual Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 850w is on special offer and is much cheaper so is the better buy. Both the Antec and Seasonic have 10 year warranties.

Currently just running a Z97-K , I7 [email protected] , 4x4 DDR3 , GTX1060 , 1 x ssd , 1x HD , H115i , 4x140mm fans in an R5.
Just bought a Vega56 which i know it will quite happily power.
But it is now 10 years old and even though it has been fantastic i know it probably wont last forever so was going to retire it before it failed. (+ i seem to have lost all the modular cables so only have 1x8 pin PCIE).
Will stick with Antec and get the Antec HCG or the Seasonic since they seem to be the OEM for the HCG 850.

Was getting ready to buy the Focus gold plus 850 but have come across quite a few threads about a possible compatibility issue with Vega 56 .
Is this only for older v56"s pre jan 2018 or will it also affect the Saphire I just bought.

Doh too late already bought it .
Seems though that it only affects cards before January 2018 checked mine and it is April 2018 so should be fine.

its actually the manufacture date of the PSU , April onwards seems not to have any problems.

Had the Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 850w up and running now for a week , great PSU super quiet and no probs with overclocked Vega 56 and I7.
Wierd side effect of the new PSU is i can now run my HyperX fury DDR3 1866@2133 1.5v where before could only get it to run at 2000.
