Samsung Magician - This Drive Is Not Supported

Whenever I install and run either v5.21 or v5.3 (or v4.95) on two newly installed 970 EVO NVME drives, I always get a "This drive is not supported" message.

Is there any point looking for a solution to fix this or is it a waste of time installing the software?
Is it just a glorified Firmware Update checker?

Thank you.

Have you installed the Samsung nvme driver ?

I dont really bother with Magican, just install it every couple of months to check for firmware updates as its the only way to do it now, then remove it again, it serves no purpose.

Thanks for the help.
Yes, I've installed the NVME driver.
OK, I'll uninstall it.

Isn't it possible to check for FW updates via Samsung website?
It does/did list FW updates for SSD's etc.
