@dante6491 @Holst1981 @555BUK @Zernath When Resident Evil 2 was released I didn't get the code sent to me, had to log into AMD rewards and then click the email code button at the bottom and then some hours later I got the code sent. Even if I already claimed the award earlier. Not sure if you already tried that as well ?

Yeah, I've tried that a few times. The emails just state "Your key will be assigned as soon as it is available" for all three games. :(

Brought the pulse 56 on the 22nd feb and got it next day, redeemed my code on AMD rewards and been waiting patiently for my RE2 code and got it today. Its been no rush, its not like the games going anywhere and ive got other games to play.

I didnt get an email letting me know it was ready tho, had to check on AMD rewards and it was there for me. Downloading and installing now. Big thanks anyway.

Do you get an 8 pin PCI-E adapter with this card?
I know older cards used to come with them. Just I can't for the life of me find the PSU box and can only see 1x6pin and 1x6pin with a 2pin as an extra so a 8 and a 6!?
I assume I can just use the 6+2 and then get hold of a cable and attach the other 8 pin to the '12v3/PCI-E/HDD' part on my PSU?

PS (Hope the pics dont come out as big as they look as I have just pasted from Google Photos)

New cards do not come with adapters anymore. Just search your favorite online store for "6-pin to 8-pin pci-e" and you can pick them up for a couple of quid.

Thanks bud. I just realised that the pins in the PSU are different.
They go Semi-square-square-semi square-semi-semi square
Others I seen go Square-square-semi-semi semi-semi-semi-square

Nothing like complicating matters.
I would just get the Palit RTX 2060 if it was a bit closer in price as that looks like it only needs one connector and also has a DVI-D and HDMI port. (Currently have 2 monitors and both DVI-D)
This would also mean that I wouldn't have to try and get a Dual Port to DVI-D and a HDMI to DVI-D adapter. (extra cost and frustration in the hope they work)

The 2060 is around £60 difference and doesn't come with Division 2 that I want, so is around £95 difference in real terms as I would have to buy The Division 2.
Also the 6gb v 8gb worries me somewhat. My 3gb 7950 is starting to struggle.

Deffo going to buy a card soon and thought I was going to press the buy today. However with 30mins to go for cut of for delivery, I think i will give it the weekend and look to buy early next week. If my Monitor was Display Port I would have bought this by now. Only when opening my case today to see how much dustbunnies were in there and to see what my PSU was (Antec 650w) did i realise the cable issue.

Ordered a Sapphire Pulse Vega 56 yesterday and it came this morning very pleased, it has Samsung memory and installed easy,no coil whine. I will be undervolting and overclocking it when I get a chance, I've had a little play and got to say I am very impressed.
I am running it in a system I built about 5 years ago the hd7970 gb edition I had in it died a few days ago so was in need of a gpu, as I don't want to build an entire system again for a year or two.Cpu wise I have a 3770k running 24/7 @ 4.7ghz so that may bottleneck it a bit but initially having tried it on For honor(only game I have installed atm lol)it runs beautifully on extreme settings @ 1440p I was seeing 80 to a 120+ fps. Which having had to play it for a while now on the hd7970 at 1080p on my 1440p monitor on mediumish settings to scrape 60 fps I'm very impressed!
Highly recommend guys for 1440p gaming and I haven't even tinkered with it yet :)

I had an ageing 120zh monitor which i brought back in 2011, served me well but it has no display port. :( So i had to hunt around for a new monitor, it needed upgrading anyway and picked up an AOC Agon AG271QX local of gumtree for £200, little use and in immaculate condition. Very happy with that along with the Vega 56, been playing RE2 and it is light and day over my old monitor.

And got my Devil may cry 5 key this morning also, thumbs up to AMD and overclockers.

Isn't the 6 pin output rated at 75w, whereas your 8 pin output will be 150w?
Add 75w from the pcie slot and that's 300w - if you're undervolting you should be nicely inside that, but something to be aware of.

Would this 'DISPLAY PORT TO DVI-D ACTIVE ADAPTER - 4K' be the right cable to get with the Vega 54 for my DVI-D Samsung Monitor?
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk-value-display-port-to-dvi-d-active-adapter-4k-cb-145-ok.html

I just want to make sure I buy everything straight away that works for my day off setting it all up rather than be scratching my head witht he wrong lead, hopefully can solve an buy today!? (If it's all too confusing I know the RTX 2060's have a Palit at £338 with DVI-D port already on and only one 8pin connection for PSU is needed.
However assuming from the reading that the preference on here is the Vega for the 8gb memory!?

Doesn't it work with an HDMI to DVI cable? Amazon sell those for a few quid.
