I'm almost finished with the Chiron. Gotta say it started out as a great build. Spent hours on the gear box and linkage and it's really solid and heavy. But I'm pretty disappointed with the front end. It's really flimsy. Such a shame.

I ordered the Lunar Lander and Saturn V sets on the 02/08. The lander arrived on 05/08. The Saturn V was on back order and said shipping date would be the 16th (2 days from now). The website changed last week to the 30th for new orders so I spoke to the live chat support to see if my shipping date was still the 16th, i was told it would the 23rd and as a way of compensation they were giving me £10 worth of VIP points which i immediately got in my account. Got an email last night to say my order has been delayed, spoke to chat again this morning and expected shipping date is now the 30th, but cannot guarantee it not to be delayed again. Rather disappointed that a company so large and established can keep delaying and delaying like this. I don't mind waiting, it was backordered when i ordered it, but its just annoying to have the goal posts changing constantly.

I'm very happy with the lunar lander, great set with loads of detail. Heres my current "small" collection. I also have a load of Lego City sets i inherited from my dad when he passed but they are sat in the garage unbuilt as they took up a lot of room. The Saturn V will sit on the top.

Finally got round to finishing this. The lights are fine. The actual Chiron is a little disappointing.
That does look pretty cool with the lights. I know what you mean about the chiron. I really enjoyed the bucket excavator. Im wondering if i could get away with ordering the falcon and not telling the mrs. My only problem is the box wont fit through the loft hatch to hide it:(.

I know this isn't the kind of thing you guys would like to talk about in here but needs must... i have around 28 unopened Lego sets ranging from you basic Lego city cars all the way up to the Lego Sandcrawler that i need to sell. :(:(:( Obviously there is ebay (Horrible fees) Facebook marketplace (Lots and lots of specialists/people offering 10p) are there any places anyone can recommend i sell these from? Like i say it hurts me to do so but i've been off sick from work for over a year now and keeping a house over my families head is more important. I guess... Lol

Perhaps bricklink? EBay are always doing £1 final value fee weekends so they would probably be your best option.

Good shout regarding ebay, i'll keep an eye out for their special offers. Also didn't realise you could buy and sell on bricklink as i hadn't been on there for years. Thanks! :)

I liked the chiron .I don't like that all the internals are covered as the build was amazing

That's just it. I enjoyed the engine build as the gearbox was superb, but then it all gets covered and so it weighs an absolute ton, has hardly any sturdy points to hold it from and 0 benefits for doing so.

The front end is flimsy as hell, the doors don't click shut they just kinda hang and it's difficult to pick up without panels bending any which way.

It started so well but overall I'm left kinda disappointed.
