Bullion By Post. Used them online to sell \ purchase and been to the actual office in Birmingham. Use recommended postal service. Price close to spot too. Good Luck.

Apparently not. Scrap is apparently 9 carat jewellery and suchlike, and not 24 carat bars/ coins.
This lot were on my radar so thanks for the recommendation. Thanks also Moon Man - I’ll check them out too.

+1 for Chard - They give you a price -post them the same day recorded/registered for next day delivery and money ends up in your bank.

There's plenty of gold jewellers who would buy them.
I'm in Glasgow too. And I've bought several gold bars and sold them in person. If you want a personal recommendation of a shop then send me a trust message.

Pointless he will lose a lot of money in postage costs.
Royal mail for instance won't insure gold bars.
