It’s the easiest solution, USB straight into the computer.

You can go for a studio mic but they are XLR connection so you have to go down the route of a DAC etc.

Have a look at the Blue yeti mic, gets great reviews. :)

Do some proper research, there are different types of mics and they suit different applications ( for a quick guide https://www.musicianonamission.com/types-of-microphones/ ), for music you won't want to be using a conventional podcast type mic, they are built to pick up voice better than instruments. I'd suggest spending proper money and not buying the cheaper options of streamer/podcast mics...but do your own research of course.
