Hi all,

I was looking to eventually buy, stock permitting, a new system from overclockers which has an i9-10900k and 3080.

I thought the gaming radiance pro looked decent but wondered about the thermals in the Lian Li ROG Special Edition PC-O11 case used in the build as well as noise levels.

Would be grateful for any advice on whether this case would have decent enough airflow for the configuration I have in mind. I'm also concerned about noise levels.

This is the link for the radiance pro offered by overclockers:

Thanks in advance for any advice.

What exactly is the build for?

You might be better off giving OCUK a parts list and having them build exactly to your specifications if you don't want to build it yourself.

Stock issues with the 3080 might make things difficult for you however, there's a huge pre-order backlog at the moment.

Thanks for the reply. I want to play most current and upcoming games in 4k, high settings with at atleast 60fps wherever this is possible.

I had a system a while back with a 2080ti blower card that sounded like an aircraft and overheated so would just like to avoid that experience again!

I'm willing to wait for the stock to improve on the 3080. Will drop overclockers an email- I'm definitely attracted to something already built for me as I dont yet have enough knowledge to go about building my own just yet.

Here's a build you could take to them that works out much cheaper while having near identical performance to what you're looking at:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £2,086.54 (includes shipping: £14.70)

An AMD version:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £2,126.58 (includes shipping: £14.70)

There's new AMD CPU's due out in a few weeks, since you'll be waiting for the 3080 anyway it's probably worth revisiting this thread at that time.

OCUK would build either of these systems for you for a fee, and you've plenty of money left over to pretty things up if you want more RGB added or what have you. If you're not fussed about the RGB you could actually save £40 on the RAM.

I only listed that case as it's the one in the prebuild you were looking at.

You've a lot of options with either build tbh, you could change case, use a different heatsink, switch GPU brand etc.
