Would be nice but so far we're only being given meaningless information like what cards have been dispatched, which to those people with those cards, they'd know that already. Unless it's a day notice, OC aren't doing anything to give information about the future regarding any cards - or so it has been so far.

Well pretty poor from OC then seems the community here are doing their best but are being treated like mushrooms. We agree the sheer volumes are an issue, but tbh we as a community already expected and i am surprised suppliers were in the dark about potential demand! Nvidia are also to blame for preventing pre-orders being taken, as they would have been able to estimate demand earlier. I am just struggling with a pair of gx780s currently and just need something better, obvious was to get something new

Well, I was told that an ETA or queue position system would be this week... and nothing.
By November, the 3080 20gb will be available to order... it would be stupid to wait for the 10gb and that one only be a few more weeks behind it.

Ah but what if the queue for the 20gb cards is still two months so you will then be waiting until Janaury/February?

Hearing about the whole thing lasting till December is putting me off ease, order a 3080 Asus strixx on the 18th at 13:47 and I am still kinda hoping to get it mid to late October

I think they need to focus on fulfilling current back/pre-orders without adding more products to their manufacturing line, all this will do is compound the problem and make supply take longer still!!!

It would take a day to sort out what orders where placed for what card, and sort them in time order.
Its been a week tomorrow.

I ordered on Sunday, am I towards the end of the queue rather than the start? Think I'll get the card before November?

If you ordered on Sunday, you will be near the very back of the queue. It's hard to estimate when you'll receive your card as we don't have details of shipment numbers or frequency.
