I am getting new Gigabyte x570 today.

Using 2700x at the moment but upgrading to 5900x.

Will new mobo work with both series 2 and 5 without upgrading BIOS?

My understanding is support for series 5000 remove support for series 2000 because of limited BIOS space?

Or is it only applies to x470?

So after I upgrade, 2700x will not work with that mobo anymore?
Just curious if chipset support all series in the same time or BIOS space for flashing is an issue?
It should still work theres no mention on thd website for the motherboard to drop 2700x cpu. I think the dropping of cpu is on b450 motherboards and are the first gen cpu's.

I am pretty sure there was information somewhere regarding dropping the CPU for older series on X470 after BIOS upgrade.

Perhaps X570 support them all. I confirm once I test it
