New gaming PC, £1200 budget

Hi all,

I know right now isn't the best time to be buying new PC parts but I need one now as my other one has died! I have everything including a monitor, keyboard, mouse etc... so don't need those.

£1,200 budget just for the machine.

Been out of the game for a while, but I would like to go for a Ryzen based system - Could some of you oh so knowledgable ones spec me up please?

Slightly over budget but the price of GPUs are inflated right now, they have RTX 3070 available for a similar price if raytracing is your thing but in raster the 6800 is around 15% faster.

Yeah the 6800 has double the VRAM and a good lead over the 3070 in raster and can even beat a 3080 in a couple of titles although this flips when raytracing / DLSS is enabled with the 3070 being over twice as fast so really depends on your preference to raytracing as games using it a few and far between.
