Hi Folks,

I've got what I think is a failing HDD as can be seen in my other thread below and as a result I'm looking for a little advice on a replacement.

https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/windows-10-slow-performance.18919635/

Ideally I would like a new item but I'm not sure what I can really get for this sort of budget these days particularly given the NVME market has taken off.

I think I would need just a SATA SSD but happy to take other suggestions as well. My current motherboard and HDD that will likely need to be replaced is:

MOBO: MSI H81M-E33
HDD: WD Blue WD5000AAKX 250GB

Only need a similar size as well.

Any help/advice appreciated! :)

MX500 has been great for me, only thing i'd niggle over is the sata connection on the drive, it's not the most solid (would be easy to break if handled regularly).
