Both cars replaced by this, a late 2018 M3 Competition.

Winning right there. Absolutely love the colour. I’m a little sad that the Honda is gone, but what a replacement!

@Gibbo - the spyder looks great, I'm glad it’s living up to expectations!

It’s been far too long, back in a Porsche and it’s the lightest of the modern era at circa 1275kg

The roof is a total faff and the wind noise is tragic but jesus it’s nothing short of incredible to drive and insanely confidence inspiring.
Well done mate, stunning drive…but terra roof :D

Got the wheels refurbed and the rear bumper painted on the Jag, and put it up for sale. Being a bit cheeky and hoping to get a little over 3x what I paid for it, as it’s the only one for sale in the country right now.

Thanks buddy, it is crazy how you start to think that some of the modern EPAS steering systems are not that bad now, even in a modern Porsche, until you drive a car with a proper sorted hydraulic steering.
It’s the Porsche magic. They are fantastic steering cars no question.

the Jag XJR is brilliant value for money here in the U.K and the supercharged version is pretty quick too, i wouldn't mind mind buying one to replace my Honda Jazz, i test drove quite a few before choosing the AMG and they were all in very good condition. It's a car that grows on you especially the Portfolio version but it's also car that everybody overlooks as well!

but the Jazz is an excellent daily for shopping and dead cheap to run so there you go.

but i wouldn't say the Jag was hard to park and it's not that large either, but it is here in the New Forest where parking spaces are tiny and the country lanes; very narrow.

It's a 2018 sport 220, so has the exposed shifter as well
Very nice! Is it your first foray into Lotus ownership?

-edit, just checked how much they go for. Glad I'm not alone in spending far too much on an impractical British 2-seater :D

Thanks, I'm very happy with it. The colour is fantastic in the flesh and got a lot of people looking at it at Caffeine and Machine yesterday.
Gonna get one I think. Sensible money now though I am also still being pulled in by the E92 for daily duties too.
I wouldn't call them sensible money however they are fantastic to drive no doubt.

Thought I’d give the Honda a pampering, three coats of wax and sealant for wheels should last six months or so hopefully.
