I doubt it, EDF (my employer) have already fired up two previously decommissioned Coal plants (it's cheaper to import coal from Australia than run the gas plants) in readiness for the coming winter, And dropped production to the bear minimum from gas generation plants. Only 28GW are generated via gas plants currently as renewables have taken over a large portion of production.
Gas production has been massively scaled down since 2016 (127TWh) to the current 28GWh, there are several sources of renewable energy due to come online in the next 6months that should pick up the slack before it gets to the point of brown/black outs.
