Bank park management limited

It says you can't appeal unless it goes to court. So if you know you are in the right, ignore and let it go to court. It probably won't.
It highly likely to go to court. The modern process is much more in the favour of the car parks and debt companies.

If you are confident it was incorrect and have evidence @teenwolf then let it go to court. You will be asked to provide the court with a questionnaire. At this point, attach any evidence you have as to why it is unjust.

I had one where the car I had sold was left at a motorway services for 24 hours as part of a relay to get it to Scotland. I had parking permit changes, car insurance changes, DVLA, etc etc etc. Tonnes of documents to prove it wasn't my car at the time. I sent this with my questionnaire and the case was dropped immediately.

If you have nothing however, you are liable as the registered keeper and there is jack all you can do but pay. You should never ignore parking "invoices" as the law changed recently making the registered keeper equally as liable.

The law changed but it still costs them to chase people. If you respond then it's always more likely than if you are just a information black hole. They want easy wins.

If they have 20 people who are easily lead then one who is difficult, it's not worth chasing the difficult one.

There's a million and one threads on various forums, including places like Pepipoo, regarding Bank Park Management Ltd and Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd

If they have evidence (they will) then they will take it to court. It is as simple as that nowadays. I do agree you don't want to volunteer too much, but if you have no "counter evidence" or you are legitimately not the right person, and you end up in court, you'll be looking at a much higher bill.

Not that simple at all lol

Nasher is partly correct, however it all depends on the company or agency involved.

It's a large parking fine, but it's not much in the grand scheme of things so just bite it, see if you can haggle then down to half price (say you're poor, have nothing this month, got kids to feed yada yada yada) - you'll be surprised what you can blag ;)

Edit - ah wait, you're already at the bailiff letter..
then I'd personally bin it and wait for them to knock lol

But yeh, don't call the debt people, call the parking company first :)

Edit 2: just noticed who the OP is, bin it and risk it :)

@teenwolf - just seen your comment in my own thread and I think you've misunderstood me. When I noticed it was you I recommended you do the same thing I said I would also do, as your posts always come across like we are both cut from a similar cloth. It wasn't an insult.

I've had some in the past which I have ignored however last year had to pay £480 for two that were with the same parking company that were for two different cars over a period which dated back to 2020 & 2021.

They must be getting desperate and actually carrying out their threats of court.

I thought they only had X months to chase them?
They kept on sending letters threatening to take you court if you didn't pay up. Unfortunately eventually they did actually take it to court.

From experience, normally after a year or so of ignoring them they would give up but not always. You just never know.
