I am trying to put a hinged door fron to cover the shelf in my shelving unit.
Thinking of a drop down drawer like https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.in...awer-to-an-electonics-bay-with/?amp_page=true
Of simply a hinged drop door. This issue is the door needs to cover a gap beneath the shelf hence the shelf is positioned 1/3 up the front panel. The hinge will need to fit to either the side of the unit or on the self but then also 1/3 up the surface of the front panel; it will then need to move the front panel forward first and then hinge downwards.
Any suggestions for suitable hinges or mechanisms I do not wish to construct the hinge itself
Thanks
