Just went into CEX in town and handed over my Pro 2s and everything was perfect, they then said the brand new apple cable was not the correct one as it wasn't looped to fit in the bottom of the box so I got £96 instead of £114 so £18 less as they classed it as a "B" grade item due to a brand new Apple cable.... Meh!

They have always graded the AirPods I've traded in as "B" because of the hairline scratches on the case. Think that's why I'm happy to give my 2's to the child this time round.
Seen the reviews, looks like a decent upgrade in most area's EXCEPT sound quality. Some people are saying its the same and I seen a couple saying its actually worse. Blindfolded tests had the APP2's being picked more than the APP3
For me the most important feature is ANC so not too worried about sound quality as long as it is acceptable.
In which case it seems worthwhile the upgrade. I suppose if you have the 2's then it might not be as worth it, but any other model then sure.
I personally probably wont be upgrading until the 4's or maybe even the 5's
My 2's gave up the ghost about three weeks ago so the timing has been pretty much perfect.
How Lucky! I bought the 2's a few years after release so they're still going great but I know some of the early user's report a lot of battery issues where the charge just doesnt last anywhere near as long as it used to

Ordered my pro 3, arriving between 30th September and 7th October. Hopefully dbrand case arrives before then!
Hmm. I've never had a case for AirPods. Might look into one if they look decent.
I tried the DBrand but was like a protective sticky film which drove me up the wall! Unless it’s the hard case?

Yeah I've gone for the Grip case. I use to have a Grip case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max but now use Ghost Case 2.0. I also have a Killswitch for my Steam Deck. Yeah I'm kinda a big fan

The ESR magnetic hard case that they do for AirPods is the best one, bit chunky but so much better than the soft cases.
I'm really tempted to get the Airpods Pro 3 to replace my RHA TrueConnect earbuds. I love the RHA's - loved the fact they were a UK company etc. but it seems they are now owned by Sonos and appear to have fizzled out into nothing. Does anyone know how the music audio quality would compare? I bought and loved the RHAs because their quality was amazing, I've always been unsure about Apple specifically for music. But the functionality would be great, e.g. work calls whilst commuting, device switching, and ANC for the train which I've never had...
