Man cleared of murdering Jill Dando wins damages!

I mean, you never know right, but I dont think this guy would do something like that either,
When I lived elsewhere, I had a very good friend, we'd meet up every week for a beer and a game of darts. We went on holiday a couple of times as a group. We lost touch after I moved away but spoke a couple of times a year. One day, I had a call from him, it had been two years, I hadn't realised. He told me he'd been "in the big house". After the call, I searched his name and town and there it was on the BBC website. He'd done a year for grooming. I was gobsmacked, I had no idea whatsoever.

You're right, you just never know what people are up to behind closed doors and this is a prime example.

Yes.

As I said its a bit of a long story.

To summarise it as much as I can, it was over firearms issue, police said he did something illegal and it went to court, but this guy is smart (or at least thought he was) and was good with the law and won.

Rather than just leaving it there, he then counter sued the police firearms team, which I beleive are civilians, and won, and some individuals ended up getting in a lot of trouble.

This went back and forth with the police, for years.... they would try to get him on something, he would then win in court, counter sue for whatever, and win that, and a lot of police ended up getting in trouble legally, and niether lot would back down.

Then eventually, he got put down for some sex offence but adamant he was innocent and there was no evidence.

I mean, you never know right, but I dont think this guy would do something like that either, I am pretty sure they stitched him up, and it was the best way of doing it without needing any evidence.

When people sue the police, especially multiple times, it generally makes the news. If people got in trouble, they would publish the public disclosure disciplinary. Do you have any evidence that any of these stories he’s told you is real to this effect?

Yes.

i'd watch that film. but i'd get good money the voice over at the end would confirm the main protagonist was ultimately a bit kiddy fiddly.

This was just another creative writing assignment from a guy who claimed (as an adult) he goes around pinning unruly 13 years olds up against walls. (after alleged theft)
In fact someone popped up once to say that they recognised the user name on I think AV forums or something who got banned for posting rubbish all the time.

Thanks for that.

Mods should probably take a look if we have someone with that level of oddity messing up threads with nonsense like that.
