Loving the game too but this current generation of gamers just cannot PTFO, zero teamplay most of my games.
When i do hook up with a few friends playing its a totally different experience.

The monies of games is bonkers at times when you think about it. 7m units at £60 (and thats the basegame, I bet a lot of those 7m were the phantom edition at £90) works out as £420m. Almost half a billion quid in less than a week.

I agree.

I don’t really have friends so I just end up on a team and go solo (support class but do my support duties!). I’m not keen on team chat but if you get on the right 4 man team, I find you don’t need to speak as everyone is pulling in the right direction. Extremely rare though.

Thankfully my wife’s nephew is a gamer and plays BF6. We both have tolerant wives and I’ll now only play with him and his mates. So much better.
 
We need to make a squad up thread or something.
If anyone wants to PTFO with an ould Irishman send me a pm :)

long time battlefield player here since vietnam and to be fair took me a while to notice my assault class could actually revive people lol

the last one i played was battlefield one.

It's just disappointing that's all. Used to love Battlefield and was really hoping this would be it again. Unfortunately the Devs have steered in a direction that isn't Battlefield, well not to me atleast.
I'm only posting in the thread because I've been keeping an eye on the game, hoping I'd see things that make me want to give it another try but the more I see the less interested I get.
Everyone saying BF is back....the only BF things I see that are back are the long standing bugs :(

And probably half of that spent on the marketing!

Paid for it self in a week then.
 
Hitreg was horrendous for the last two matches! One guy was below me and I put an entire clip into his body and then his face. Got the hitmarkers but half the hits didn't result in any damage :mad:
 
i tried the cpu fix on my 7800x3d the other night, all it done was frequantly made my cpu hit up to 90% usage :s removed the cfg file and back to normal.

i did notice when looking closely it did go up to 70% odd usage but with the fix it was hitting 90 odd lol

the multi player is rock solid on ultra settings native 2560x1440p but im scared to try the single player as there was no logic to the crashes i was getting on my birthday when i tried the campaign

Whilst a lot of that money will go to EA directly, the platforms such as Steam, Xbox, Epic, Playstation etc will all be taking a nice cut of them sales. GabeN will be rubbing his hands with glee.
 
Think I've solved the crashes I was having with icue and bf6
Changed all the ultra-overkill settings to ultra and it seems stable so far.
VRAM usage dropped from 15 out of 16gb to around 10.
 
My graphics settings keep changing from all on high, to overkill textures and another thing on ultra with everything else set to high every time i turn on to play again.

Has anyone else noticed there graphics settings dont stay where you put them and have to keep changing them every time you play?
 
had a wee go at single player and seems improved it never crashed but i came out to put this pic up, it got a lot more hectic afetr that pic but never crashed this time :)
