Solar panel production figures

My battery didn’t charge last night either, I updated the octopus home assistant integration which included breaking changes and I didn’t read the patch notes. Oops!

I did read the patch notes, but failed to realised that intelligent dispatching had changed, realised yesterday morning, and made some changes last night to use the off peak sensor instead, but I discovered I'd broken things about 20 minutes ago, so there wasn't any force discharge tonight, and I'm about to plug the car in, so I expect it will give me a session, and that will stop the export I currently have going.

6.7 total for the day and even ran the battery down to 10% tonight as I had a long session on BF6 so I probably tickled into the expensive rate for an hour or so.

Battery is charging back up now and shouldn’t force discharge in the morning from now on, only last thing at night.

I did manage to get some force exported last night, OE did start the car charging as soon as I plugged in but pretty quickly changed their mind as my system started pulling about 12 kW from the grid instead of exporting. I've find it best to plug the car in late and about 10 minutes before the end of a half hour slot.

SolarEdge: 5.3 kWh
Garage: 5.65 kWh
North west roof: 5.25 kWh
House rear wall: 1.26 kWh
Peak power was 4.42 kW at 10:56

Total generated yesterday: 17.46 kWh
Total exported yesterday: 12.24 kWh
Total imported yesterday: 32.89 kWh

7.5 kWh today. Not expecting anything for the next couple of weeks with the abysmal forecast here.

Quick off-topic Q (don’t feel it warrants a new thread) - for those that have switched to Octopus and already had a working SMETS2 meter with your previous provider, how long has it taken for Octopus to start successfully reading/using the meter once your switch completed? I’m going to get rinsed on the standard Flex tariff charging the car when there’s no solar.

Within a week usually.
