temperature monitors for Vista

anyone know of a good temperature monitor for vista?
A Gadget to display the Chip temps might be nice, but anything, I would like to see if that huge space hog of an amanda is doing anything useful.

Nothing seems to work apart from that program I can't remember!! Not even Speedfan. I'm so helpful.

What would be REALLY good would be if someone could write a CPU temp gadget for the sidebar.

Speedfan works fine for me on 32bit Vista.

one of the updates release by M$ yesterday sorted out some compatibility issues, Speedfan was 1 of the progs named although i havet tried it yet...

x64. still doesnt work :cool:

Latest version of Everest works on Vista x64 & can show temps.

Everest freezes my pc on vista x64 though :mad:

On the same pc it works fine in xp32.
I've tried the newest release and newest beta, both do the same...

Latest version of speedfan 4.32 works fine in Vista x64,I can vouch for that

Speedfan gives same problem as everest, freezes my pc and hdd light is stuck on, I'm startign to believe these apps hate my ite atapi ide cotnroller my 2 hdd's are on in 64 bit mode

( as seems to work fine in xp 32) . It freezes exactly @ the time it loads hdd temps ( smart).

must be a driver problem in your vista 64..

EVEREST Ultimate Edition 4.00 works perfectly on my vista 64bit....

Speedfan working fine here on 2 x64 systems. There is also a sidebar gadget for it, have a look on the neowin forums

Speedfan, Coretemp & Everest all work fine for me, shame TAT doesn't work.

Been using this for a few months now, works great on vista x64 and gives temperatures for everything you can think off, inc cpu, gpu, etc, also gives fan speeds.
