Dude, are all these freeware now? Because otherwise you might taste banhammer for promoting illegal breach of copyright.

nobody care about emulators as its the only way to preserve the past...i think websites like emuasylum are doing a good job for keeping the old stuff alive...if i get banned then i dont mean to be banned...im just trying to share my passion for gaming with other people...:)

I wish my old HDD hadn't died with all my 8 bit stuff, it took ages to build it up.

Classic Gaming is awesome - I often get nostalgic about my old CPC, C64 and Spectrum (and later, Amiga, Megadrive, SNES) :D

OP: Be sure anything you are making available or linking to is now freeware/abandonware etc. I'd guess most of the older stuff is seeing as there are plenty of Emu and Rom sites about now that are pretty mainstream.

re

emuasylum has been going for years now, thats how they have a massive database as its been built up over a large amount of time...nobody cares about retro apart from the people that played them in there youth....even if you was a multi millionaire and had loadsamoney you still could not buy all of these as there is not any left of most of them...and even if you did find them imagine the storage space you would need?
Retro stuff is meant to be used on PC's today...its the only way to preserve all of it in a nice tidy space:)

I can't stop playing the Neo Geo.

Mark of the Wolves
Breakers Revenge
Metal Slug
Last Blade 2
KoF 2003

And not to mention the awesome shoot em up games on it.

Who needs 360/PS3?

Love the old arcade games.

I did some mame benchmarking recently on "propcycle" on my i7 system with XP 32bit. 2.66 Ghz = 56%. Changing to Vista 64 it went 110% then I overclocked my PC to 3.8 ghz, it went to 186%. 64 Bit OSes are faster.
