fans with TRUE

im upgrading from my arctic freezer 7 pro, i want to stick to air cooling (cant be bothered with water atm) so chose the TRUE.

before i order, what 120mm fans should i be getting with them? and should i get 1 or 2. i suspect they clip on just like the artic freezer 7 pro so that will be a doddle. only question is what fans to get?

i have an e8400 c0 stepping and i dont have a fan controller

I just bought 2x standard cheapish fans. I plan on running them push + pull towards the rear extractor.

I figured that was best after looking through various reviews of the true black.

If anyone knows any better I will be interested aswell.

Are you overclocking ? if not then you might not need a fan at all, if you do you will only need a slow running one or one on a fan controller.

If you are then the push/pull setup is nice - but again fan controller to cut the noise down.

overclocking, and do i put the 2 fans on opposite sides of the heatsink? seemsa bit counter-intuitive

also does anyone have a TRUE running on my motherboard (see sig) as it has a large NB heatsink that i have to check cpu heatsink clearance for.

If youve got the TRUE and you want extreme overclocks, the sharkoon fans are excellent, 2000 rpm models for a quad, highly clocked, got 2 on my TRUE and q6600 @3.8ghz theyre very good

I bought the TRUE black witch came with 2 sets of fan clips

Very good combo, im getting rid of the q6600 soon. fancy getting an E8600 and trying for 4.5ghz on air cooling.

push pull with the sharkoons 2k is a quality setup, they arent that noisy either.
