Q6600 on EP45T-UD3P

3.46GHz = 385 x 9
Memory Multiplier : 3.33D (still really confused about this!)

VCore = 1.40625
MCHCore = 1.1 default (what is this?!)
DRAM Voltage = 1.740

It boots fine, idles at 33C and is at a maximum of 55C under heavy load. Completes a Performance Test without any problem, but does fault after a minute on Prime 95:

"FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.
Torture Test ran 0 minutes 26 seconds - 1 errors, 0 warnings."

But does everything else I'd want it to do faultlessly. Do I need to increase VCore? At 375FSB it was fine with 1.375 VCore, and even with this FSB it booted up fine with 1.375 VCore, I only raised it to try and fix Prime 95 but to no avail.

/O/T/ Yer, that was after 15 hours of non-stop head scratching getting some accursed TRAP 000000D Error for no reason...

1x2GB OCZ Gold Edition DDR3
Gigabyte EP45T-UD3P G0 Revision
650W Generic PSU
Freezer Pro 7 CPU Cooler

Just upped VCore to 1.425 (scary!) and lowered FSB to 382. Has been running Prime 95 for about 5 minutes so far with no fault, but temperatures are much higher! 60C Load, 35C Idle.

Looks ok to me. vcore vs clock with those temps look about on par. Maybe you have hit FSB wall at 385Mhz. Temps are fine, that chip is good for 70-75degC. Don't worry. :)

Could try dropping the multi to 8x and up FSB to 425 if you are having no luck with 9 x 382.

Thanks for the reassurance on the Temperatures; really wasn't sure. Prime 95 is still running (even whilst I do other stuff!), and the temp is still at 60C. I think I've found my ideal OC! Woot!

Just leave prime95 on for a few hours whilst your out, a good 4-8 hours at full load with no errors, and you've got yourself a stable system! :)

Ha ha, ran Prime over night with four Workers. 10 hours later three were still running, the fourth had errored at 8 hours and 6 minutes. I'm happy with that; I'm not doing anything too extreme with this build besides some fancy graphics software for a computer game company next year.
