best £50 graphics card?

hi iv been asked by a friend to find him a £50 pcie graphics card for fps and rts games, his monitor resolution is 1280 720.
i know its a low budget but can anyone suggest anything?
i was thinking a 4650 or a 9500/9600 but not too sure

Yeah you are better off going with the second hand market for more value for moeny.

Agree with the above posters - at that price range a second hand card is your best bet. The card that currently retail for this price are nowhere near as fast.

I suggest looking for a: ATI 4850 or Nvidia 8800 GTX/GTS 512/GT, 9800GT/GTX(+), GTS 250. In a few months and a few hundred posts you will get access to the member's market (MM) where cards like these sell for that kind of money.

If he wants new i would say 4670 cracking little card for the money but second hand would get him a lot more for his cash .
