This is pushing it, my friends laptop has just died, but he wants a pc. He does an odd bit of gaming, and surfs the net.
He says maximum spend of £250, but i've got a spare hdd, monitor, keyboard and mouse for him which ive told him he can have.

Can anyone spec me a pc(without the part above ofc) for £250.
It's a push i know, but i had a quick gander, i got it done for £260.

Can anyone try push it lower?

and that cpu you said is OEM, does not come with a heatsink and fan, so instead of paying for that (~£20) = £63 total, your better off with the AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 240 2.8GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail

Should be not bad mate, that games is not demanding so would run it great

You would more than likely get the same performance from that as you would get with a 9500GT
