Well I went out at the weekend got a juciy crumpler bag (so at least I'm sexy now ;)) I also bagged a tripod for £8 (Hama Star 75 - not the best but, I opted to use it untill I can treat myself at christmas!!). Lovley I said. Used it for half-an hour at lunch. The head bit has fallen from the centre column so I tried srewing it back in but it seems like the thread has gone or it wasn't inteded to fit in the first place. It seemed like there was glue, or somthing on the head, but how this allowed me to move the head along the X Y & Z axis I don't know?

Anyone know anything of any use??

How about a very large Lump Hammer!!.. :)

Sorry Couldn't resist!.. I think the Star75 is only about £15 (or there abouts when I bought one years ago) so it might not be worth a repair!..

Sorry I'm not much help!.. :)

I've got a Hama Star 63, which I bought quite a while ago, and its solid as a rock.

The heads a bit cheap and creaky when moving it, but does the job :)
