Hi all, I have been wanting to upgrade my PC for awhile now and since I have come the money now to do so (21st Birthdays rock), I felt there was no better time.

This is what I have put together so far:

Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366) - OEM £201.99

Asus P6T SE Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard £138.99

Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card + Colin McRae Dirt 2 Full Game £119.99

Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel (TR3X6G1600C9) £109.99

Corsair HX 650W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-650HXUK) £96.99

Corsair H50-1 High-Performance CPU Watercooler (Socket LGA775/1156/1366/AM2/AM3) £62.99

Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (WD5001AALS) £43.99

For a total of £795

I plan to get another 5770 in march and going crossfire, until then the single one should suffice.

Looking for comments, criticisms and suggestions, if its not in my list I have already got it. Main use is for Video editing/encoding and moderate to high gaming

Apart I would go for bigger psu for future proofing two gpu's , Not sure about the corsair watercooler from what I've read they are no better or worse than the thermalright ultra extreme air cooler and the new one's with the fan are near silent, Apart from that seems a solid build

The 650W PSU would be fine for running 2 5770's
also the H50 is a great cooler, although it works a lot better with 2 fans, and at that price you could get a TRUE. i suppose its more personal preferance

For the price of the h50 I would get the prolimatech megahalems and 2 fans to go with it as I have heard some bad reviews about the H50 (originally I was going for it too) but never heard anything bad about the prolimatech. Best air cooler imo. Benchmarks show it's better than TRUE by a couple degrees.

Also the 650 will be enough for 2 5770s but I would still get at least the 750. Much more future proof in case you may want to change to a 5850 or 5870 crossfire later on.
