Hi all...

Ive got a 750gig hard drive on my pc,

when installing windows 7 i decided it would b a good idea to create several particions to spread the load out so i allocated 20gig purely just for a boot drive and nothing else would be saved there,

now im getting low scores on benchmarks and mesages saying theres not enough space etc.. (15% space free!)

so ive tried particion magic, and the particion manager that comes with windows 7 and i can rearange all my others apart from my boot drive...

so im left thinking im going to have to reinstall win7 again unless theres a obvious solution im missing? thanks for any help!

Had the same issue on Vista64 recently, neither the Vista disk management software or any of the other software seemed to help.

Finally figured it out, you need free space next to your C drive ( assuming you are booting from that ) in order to expand the boot drive. So I moved everything off the D drive, formatted it and the Vista disk management allowed me to expand my C drive.

I'm sure it's pretty obvious to more knowledgable people, but it wasn't to me.
