Core i5 750 they goto 4Ghz and just perform better esp in games and for the sake of £50.. get something decent don't waste your money on i3's there for office PCs not home PCs

I wouldn't go that far...i3 530 is actually a margin faster than the Core2Duo E8000 series. I remember reading a review that a i3 530 overclocked to 3.5GHz is around the same speed as E8400 overclocked to 4.25GHz. The i3 530 should be able to be overclocked further as well, since they are 32nm CPU.

i would buy the i5 750 with the gigabyte P55 US3L.

I have the combination and the performance is outstanding.

Buy the 1600mhx ocz ram for overclocking option.

I bought the ATI 5870 1Gb, a monster card, but expensive for the money you want to spend.
