Hey guys, am planning to buy a 4GB kit of G.Skill Ripjaw Memory for my new i5 build - what difference would I see between a CL8 kit and a CL7 kit? Is it worth an extra tenner?

For an extra tenner I would go with the CL7 sticks. I have the 1600 CL7 kit and it does 2000MHz CL9 with ease....a superb kit.

However, if you aren't too concerned about the best overclocking memory performance (very little real world difference), then go with the CL8 sticks.
