I had my Saab converted 40k miles ago.
Cost me £1.5k to get it converted.

From experience, there is no noticeable loss of power. I certainly can't tell when automatically it switches from petrol to lpg after the engine has warmed up.

It has run faultlessly, the only downsides are the small lpg tanks that are generally fitted, so the range is only 200 miles between fill ups, and the relatively few lpg stations (fortunately there is one between my home and work) and the 10% loss in mpg (28mpg with petrol compared to 25mpg with lpg)

Currently paying 52p per litre, which works out to about 60mpg when comapred to current petrol prices. It paid for itself after 12 months and 18k miles (I was sad enought to keep a spreadsheet). I would certainly consider it again.
