I need two brill monitors for web design and video editing, I have a 24" Samsung T240 at the moment but I want two good monitors for as cheap as possible.. 22" or 24" is fine.

Or am I better trying to find another another T240? I would get one monitor but when i set this monitor to 1920x1080 instead of 1920x1200 i bet bars at top and bottom... anybody know how to fix that?

For web design, where I imagine accurate colours are useful - therefore I would suggest an IPS panel. For a 22in, the £230 Dell 2209WA (1680x1050) is brilliant. If you want an 24in, the £350 HP ZR24w (1920x1200) is lovely (here is a review).

As for your current T240, why would you want to run it at 1920x1080?

In that case, get the HP I linked to. The resolution is the same as your current one (1920x1200), it seems to handle games well and has accurate colours - so will be great for your work.

Ok thanks, looks like that's the one I will get.. It seems a lot of people on here have and like the BenQ G2420HDBL that's no good for what I do?

It is a good monitor - for the price.

However, the HP is by far the superior monitor, but it costs more.

The BenQ uses a TN panel, while the HP uses an eIPS panel. This article explains the differences with these technologies.

Also, the HP has the monitor resolution which matches your existing monitor (1920x1200), while the BenQ uses the slightly smaller 1920x1080 (1080p). Therefore extending the desktop will not be an entirely seamless transition and eyefinity won't work well as the resolutions are different (as you say, you can run your Samsung at 1080p, but with 1:1 scaling the image size is decreased and you get black bars).

Also, the HP comes with a diplayport connection - which means setting up a future 3x eyefinity will be easy.
