what to upgrade for £50?

my spec since last friday,

i5 bundle overlclocked to 4.00ghz
4gb of ram overclocked to 1600mhz
Asus P7P55D-E
22" moniter full hd
ATI 5830 his mw2 edition
1 500gb samsung f1
akasa venom cpu cooler
mx518
g11
samsung cd drive

i have £50 to upgrade maybe something like a corsair h50-1 or a set of decent speakers (5.1) but will my mobo support 5.1 audio? any sugestions, im not too picky just some ideas please?

blu-ray drive perhaps. I haven't checked your mobo spec but am almost 100% certain it will do 5.1 audio. £50 on 5.1 speakers isn't really an option as they won't be very good quality but the decision is yours

If you need speakers then i would go for them - your board should support 5.1.

Other option could be a second hard drive to get raid setup going.

Cooler - that Akasa should be fine - i don't really see any point going for the H50 for the sake of it.

I got myself some Logitech x230's ages ago, which are only 2.1 but the sub is pretty bloody bassy! They can be picked up for around £30 now, but for the price I'm really happy with them :)

If your temps don't exceed 50 degrees, then it'd be a complete waste of money to change your cooler. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
