Poll: do hashbrowns have a place in a fry up?

Square Sausage (AKA Lorne Sausage)
Bacon
Fried Eggs
Potato Scone
Black Pudding
Beans

if you're in scotland... tatty scones too.

dont forget fried toast, regular toast... etc

They belong by default. HOWEVER you are much, much, much better off making your own. Even if you suck at cooking, they'll still taste awesome.

My attempt was beyond tragic.

Imagine a man standing by the stove holding nothing but contempt for the window licking idiotic mess in his pan.

The outside was burnt, the inside just wouldn't cook. This was all done on the lowest heat setting and took ages.

For me, fry up perfection is as follows

2 x thick rashers smoked bacon/ayrshire bacon
2 x egg
1 x black pud
1 x haggis
1 x tomato
2 x sausage ( 1 link 1 lorne )
2 x tattie scone

and a large mug of strong tea

Not at all, trick with a fry up, in my experience, is to know when enough is enough.

Back in the day I would have done exactly that, cleared the plate and then had to call in hewden to crane my ass of the chair

BLACK PUDDING IS A MUST. Also I've had haggis sausage on one before, big + in my eyes.

Bacon, Sausage, Beans, Eggs, Mushrooms, Black Pudding, Toast maybe Haggis Sausage .. possibly Hash Browns.
