Hi guys and gals,
Not sure if this is possible or not and I have done as much research as possible but my head keeps spinning seems the more I read the more confused I get
Anywho I just bought a MSI GX740 laptop and am wanting to connect it to my Samsung 2233RZ monitor every now and then, my understanding was that I would require a dual link dvi > hdmi cable to gain the 120hz this monitor can support. However I don't seem to be able to get any more than 60hz, so i'm wondering if this is something i'm doing wrong or if there is no possible way to gain more than 60hz? Would going DVI > Vga make any difference (I always thought HDMI would support a higher hz rate than vga) ?
Thanks in advance guys
Dan
