  1. What football team do you support?
    Newcastle Utd
  2. Who is your local football team?
    Hinckley Utd
  3. Do you support any other clubs?
I have a soft spot for Leicester having lived down here for most of my life.
  4. Are you a season ticket holder? If so where at?
Nope. Too expensive for Newcastle, plus the travelling form Leicester to Newcastle would end up costing a bomb.
  5. Whats the best stadium you have been to?
Only been to a couple, so will have to say St James Park.
  6. Do you put your club or country first?
Depends what mood I'm in and if it's a meaningless friendly or not. Generally speaking, most of the time it's country.
  7. Do you think enough is being done for youth football in this country?
    I honestly have no idea.
  8. Do you think the Premier League is the best in the world? If not which is?
Can't say I watch enough of any other leagues.
  9. Do you think the ammount of foreign players are damaging the English set up?
Not really, I'd say it's more of a money problem and possibly how the youth setup is.
  10. Do you think football violence is a problem in England?
I've only been to a few matches and there's never been a spot of bother.
  11. Is debt in football a problem?
Yes, which is why I hate saying this, but I *sort* of agree with what Mike Ashley is doing at Newcastle, getting the club out of debt and allowing it to make a profit without outside help.
  12. Which leagues do you watch?
Premiership, La Liga once in a blue moon, Championship once in a blue moon.
  13. Watching football, Live or on the television?
Live > tv, unless I have no choice. Which is most of the time.
  14. Who's the best player you've seen play?
If you mean actually seen play in front of you and not on the tv, then I don't know.
  15. Whats your pet hate in football?
Either play acting or inconsistent refereeing.
  16. Who don't you like in football?
    The current chairman of NUFC.
  17. Whats the biggest thing holding back English football? The F.A.? FIFA? The Premier League? Debt? other?
A combination of debt and not enough good England youth players getting a break.
  18. Do you feel like a fan? or a customer? when watching / supporting your club?
Most of the time a fan except lately when it's more of a mug.

Just read 4 4 2 :)

Thought we could do something similar :)

Please answer with the truth;

  1. What football team do you support? Manchester United
  2. Who is your local football team? Cork City, if it is indicative to their situation their name might change in the next few months as they are under administration and have to reform
  3. Do you support any other clubs? I have an affinity for Fiorentina, shame they seem to be going down the pan after their manager left them for the national job
  4. Are you a season ticket holder? If so where at? No
  5. Whats the best stadium you have been to? Probably Croke Park to be honest, the facilities did seem far above par when I was there a couple of times
  6. Do you put your club or country first? Country, although the situation may dictate otherwise
  7. Do you think enough is being done for youth football in this country? I don't think enough is being done for youth
  8. Do you think the Premier League is the best in the world? If not which is? Probably, second would go to Spain even though I rarely have the patience to watch anything beyond highlights
  9. Do you think the ammount of foreign players are damaging the English set up? I don't see how they do anything other than improve it
  10. Do you think football violence is a problem in England? Couldn't comment
  11. Is debt in football a problem? Any modern institution needs credit to survive, the problem comes with the level of debt
  12. Which leagues do you watch? English, occasionally German as it can be quite entertaining to the neutral eye
  13. Watching football, Live or on the television? Obviously live, but expense comes into the that consideration
  14. Who's the best player you've seen play? Probably Zidane in '98, but that's mostly because I can't really pick out any noticable performances from the live stuff I've seen right now
  15. Whats your pet hate in football? Play-acting, not just for the obvious irritation of juvenile deception, but it actually acts as a stereotype preventing others from getting into football in my experience
  16. Who don't you like in football? Sepp Blatter, Roy Keane, Harry Redknapp, Man City, although the last is slowly being replaced by delirious Spurs fans
  17. Whats the biggest thing holding back English football? The F.A.? FIFA? The Premier League? Debt? other? Nothing's holding it back, the Premier League is even looking at expanding into the rest of the world with the whole '39th game' business
  18. Do you feel like a fan? or a customer? when watching / supporting your club? A fan when United play, a customer when I look at the amount of zeros on the ticket

Just a few questions, please reply :)

What football team do you support?
Liverpool

Who is your local football team?
A non-league side

Do you support any other clubs?
No, but I do have a soft spot for Nottingham Forest

Are you a season ticket holder? If so where at?
No

Whats the best stadium you have been to?
Old Wembley

Do you put your club or country first?
Club

Do you think enough is being done for youth football in this country?
No

Do you think the Premier League is the best in the world? If not which is?
I dont think any league is the best, each has its own pros and cons and it pretty much balances out one way or another

Do you think the ammount of foreign players are damaging the English set up?
Not as such, I think that the number of foreign players is a symptom of what is the actual cause of damage to the English set up, rather than the cause itself

Do you think football violence is a problem in England?
Not really, its nothing compared to what it once was

Is debt in football a problem?
Yes

Which leagues do you watch?
English leagues, Spanish and on occasion the German

Watching football, Live or on the television?
These days its TV

Who's the best player you've seen play?
Tough to say, how do I compare a defender to a forward or a midfielder to a goalkeeper. The best player I have seen in defence will have different attributes to the best player I have seen in attack for instance.

Whats your pet hate in football?
I have two pet hates, diving and taking the ball to the corner flag to run down the clock

Who don't you like in football?
Ryan Babel, Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba and Cristiano Ronaldo, amongst others.

Whats the biggest thing holding back English football? The F.A.? FIFA? The Premier League? Debt? other?
Other - A lack of skill. In time and with the right methods perhaps we could nuture and expand on our childrens skills, but currently we are held back because we simply arent good enough, no matter how many times we beat Kyjerkistan 5-0

Do you feel like a fan? or a customer? when watching / supporting your club?
I'm a customer , purchasing some entertainment, although of late the entertainment has been quite thin on the ground :)
