£200 price cut.... not bad hahah!

Any plans for price reductions on the i5 line?

Was thinking on a new 955 gaming build but if the 750 reduces further in price I may just go for the intel route.....

99p heatsink and a smidge of paste free with every purchase :)

Could do with a drop on the 1156 or 1155 lines personally, considering making a new computer out of boredom and to have an excuse at trying some modding.

I've now got 8gb of memory incoming after being seduced by a certain deal and don't actually have a mobo, case, cpu, gpu, psu or yeah, anything, to go with it yet.

At this point in time, would it be cray to go for the i7 960 over a SB build? I have a feeling that it would be crazy to do that, so who is this offer really for?

This is a serious question, so would like some input :)

Intel seem to be caught between a rock and a hard place. Their pre-Sandybridge processors are blown out of the water by Sandybridge... but people are steering away from Sandybridge because of the voltage problems on the other sata ports.

They've made the right move bringing down prices on their other CPUs.

P67 board + 2600k = £400.

I7 970 should be under that much. Another £150-200 off that price and I buy one :p

I'll just have to be patient, once Ivy Bridge comes out the I7 970 will be reduced even more.
