Have built my computer, however I am unsure about the fans within; the case fan at the front is not spinning but the one in the PSU, cpu cooler and back of the case are, is this normal?

another thing is my memory and processor is not showing up in computer properties/system info, i have tried googling for a solution but none have helped ;/

Thats strange. Post your components as stulid said. Are you sure the fan in plugged in at the front?

ah crap yeah I have a little white adaptor that was hiding at the back that goes to the fan, it has three little slots on it, any insights on where about i plug this into the motherboard?

There is two free fan places on the motherboard but I am not sure which is the correct, one is called SYS_FAN 2 but it has four pins, there is another one at the top with three pins but it is called KB_MS_USB SYS_FAN1

Does it matter? Have you applied all updated and service packs?

Try running the "Windows Experience Index", don't know if it will help but is worth a shot.

I ran what you said and it just gave my computer a score, nothing else; and yes it does matter as it's not showing meaning something is wrong with WMI or whatever it is as I am getting error messages when trying to use windows update.
