Please ignore the increase column for this week, it will be back to normal for next week, the weekly and all other info is accurate though.

Bit of a drop in production this week, lets try to get it back over a mil a day!

As for me my new rig arrived on Tuesday but I've barely had time to peak inside the boxes , I have set aside the whole of Saturday to upgrade though.

Nice, #6 in weekly dumpage and PPD
Should be ramping up in the next week or so with a new card or two plus some more cores, aiming for around 40-45k.

Thanks for the news, dekez. Have fun with the build. I had some problems this week and an SSD install today did throw a wrench into my schedule, but all is well now. GTX570 is busy with some kind of monster beta unit and is grinding my machine to a halt - quite unusual, but we will see how much it is worth. 60% to go.

I'm not sure if I've joined the right team, or any team...

I'm using Boinc. I selected a project, then searched for teams by using terms 'Ocuk'. Then I joined the big one. Have I done that right?

Folding doesn't actually use boinc (it's the only one which doesn't), for folding the easiest way is to download the folding tracking here:
http://fahtracker.com/

And set it up for team number 10.

For boinc there is the main OcUk team - "OcUK - Overclockers UK" and projects are associated with that team, the projects for the competition are:

Einstein@Home
Milkyway@Home
Rosetta@Home
ClimatePrediction.net
LHC@Home

So you would need to join the OcUK - Overclockers UK team on one of those

Mysteries of the GPU client branch are forever many! P.Labs also fiddle with them more often and that can be the cause of some interesting error messages on the client side.

Have no fear, purge the work folder and keep bashing the damn thing into submission with command line switches - 99% of all problems solved, I say. xD However, I'm almost certain Mr Dekez can recommend a more scientific approach.

I'm doing 1% or so of steps an hour. Is that right? AMD X4 925.

Also should i be running FAH GPU Tracker V2 and FAH.exe?

Yeah SMP is pretty slow, after a quick google it looks like your cpu should be doing around 5-6k PPD (points per day), this value is shown in the tracker next to the progress, or you can use an external monitoring program like HFM.net but it's not essential.

The tracker downloads and runs all the required clients so you don't need to run anything else.
