Its only 3 games in, 35 left. Thats a possible 105 points.

Stop over-reacting and being pathetic. Wenger is NOT going to be sacked and he shouldn't be sacked. We will sign a couple of players, we will get Song and Gerv back, and then we will have our full squad back. We desperately need Wilshere back. He was our best player last season and is sorely missed.

People need to get perspective. We lost against the champions, the score-line makes zero difference, we lost 3 points, let's move on, the players take a break and come back for a positive result against Swansea.

I would've loved to have been in Arsenals position at the start of last season. They don't even come close to the mess we were in.

The comparison is embarrassing. We were being run into the ground both on and off the pitch.

Never the less I feel sorry for some Arsenal fans with the situation they're in now but only some. The ones who were taking great pleasure in telling us how useless Liverpool were and how Hodgson couldn't do anymore can **** off :p

I have never liked Wenger his personality came across as the kid in school who would always cry "but sir, he started it". When a decision went against him he was all too happy to go ahead and shout, scream, kick and throw every toy out of his pram. But when his players turned into nasty, dirty players he always had the blinkers on. "I would like to comment but I didn't see the incident" Whenever he says that I always took it as an admission of guilt.

If Wenger was to go it would have to be the end of the season. Seriously the transfer windows shuts in 3 days time, you can't rebuild a team in January.

Here's a forecast for the Arsenal fans. Arsenal won't get knocked out. You'll get to the last 16 in the champions league but that's as far as you'll go. You'll qualify for the europa league next season but not the champions league. (Man U, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool will) As long as W.B.A, QPR and Swansea are in the league i'm sure you guys can sleep at night.

Hodgson should never, ever, ever have left Fulham. It was a foolish move and he will regret it until the day he retires.

You're suggesting the comparison is embarassing because we COULD do well for the rest of the season, yet at xmas you still hated Hodgeson even though he also COULD have done well till the end of the season.

Its not that we lost 8.2, the score is irrelevant, we lost, the PERFORMANCE is ALL that matters, and it was woeful, and yet, it was the exact same problems we have even when we win in general, except overall less quality making those same mistakes more frequent and more costly.

Wilshire is the ONLY decent player we've got to come back from injury, and make no mistake he could make a huge difference. Verm last year was supposed to be out for a week with a minor problem, Wilshire was supposed to be out for 3 days with a minor problem, Wilshires already pushing a month injured with no sign he's ready to come back and seeing a specialist. Theres nothing to say he will come back.

We played like utter turd in the final 15-18 games last season, 11 in the league of which we only won 2, looked like crap and had a horrible everything. Cup games that were embarassingly poor performances, woeful preseason with a vastly weakened team.

Arsenal have played 5 games already and looked awful for 5 games, recording our worst scoring start in 42 years, our worst league defeat in what, 120 years, the worst top division defeat in almost as long. These aren't coincidences. When was the last time Arsenal went for 2 wins in 14? Most of that with a massively stronger side....... I don't think liverpool at any stage had a run like that going?

Theres no where for improvements to come from, what top players are going to join? Most of our injured players are guys who get reinjured constantly, its not one niggle then back for the rest of the season. Same goes for 2 of the 3 suspended, they will be suspended for a bunch of games this season(and suck badly when they play anyway).

I've been increasingly frustrated and after yesterday, goddam annoyed by the lack of transfer activity over the last couple of seasons.

We all know that we've been lacking in the middle of defence for a while, yet the two purchases last year haven't solved the problem and serious quality needs to be brought in.

Clichy left, leaving the responsibility to an injury prone Gibbs, although I think he is a very good player, but totally unreliable. So we're now playing Sagna on the left and a youngster on the right, totally unacceptable.

We knew Cesc was going this season, yet nobody has been brought in to replace him. Not a kid with potential, a quality player!!!

Nasri left and we haven't replaced him. Don't get me wrong, he only had half a season worth noting since he joined us, so great business.

Up front we bought well in Gervinho, but RvP will miss a few months of the season, as per normal, so we're short there as well.

I say that if we have £80m in the kitty, spend the lot and not on 15 players with potential, but quality players that will hit the ground running.

I also think the board should let us know if we do have that amount of money to spend and what limitations there are with that. If Arsene is given that money, doesn't buy quality and we fail to reach the CL this season, then he's been negligent and has to go I'm afraid. It's all well and good quoting the good he has done for the club, which is undeniable, but all good things come to an end.

If he doesn't have all of that money available, then we just have to live with things and trust Arsene to do the best he can.

Someone like Parker would benefit us immediately, with very little outlay, but he's just too stubborn with his age policy to make this happen. Stop haggling over a couple of million on players and just get them in, even if their wages are far above our current wage structure. We built a world class stadium, in order to compete in the transfer market, we're clearing our debts very fast, so now is the time to back up these promises and deliver.

The impression I got last night from his post match interview was that they're struggling to get people to sign for them. It's no wonder, players now appear to see Arsenal as a selling club, rather than a title challenging club. He said he was expecting to have that guy signed from Monaco yesterday and that looks like it's not happened either. We'll see if he does make those 3 signings he spoke about before the window closes.

People are talking out of their arse in here, we need higher wages, we can't compete.

Again EVERYTHING says you are wrong, everything. Utd are spending I think probably closing in on 50mil less than City this season, and 30-40mil less last season, and who won the title, Chelsea spent 30-40mil more than Utd almost every season in the last what, 5 seasons, and who has won 4 of the titles?.

I would have thought the reason was obvious, stability. A manager who has been there for years doing it his way. He gets away with spending less than the others at the minute because they haven't changed the manager every other season and wasting cash on a new managers team. It's the only reason Everton have survived the last 10 years as well.

The Russian does Manu favours. Had he kept Mourinho happy I doubt Manu would have won another title since the last one mourinho won. Instead they spend money on a new managers team and then the next and the next. None of which where as effective as his.

To be fair, it didn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out when a club like Arsenal gets hammered 8-2, there may be a few people calling for the managers head :p

So typical of a top 4 Premier League 'supporter' these days. Plastic fans, glory hunters who will disappear just like that when they are not winning every game.

Hardly fair to mark us all with that same stamp. I think emotions are high with a lot of fans due to frustrations. But that is mainly because from an outside view the solution looks so simple. I am sure the actual solution is no where as easy as fans think.

Personally although Wenger can be a little too stubborn for his own good I don't think anyone else is going to do a better job with what we have. I am just glad that we aren't playing Utd every week :p

There is no difference from last year pts wise. We lost at Utd last season, erm we lost this year lol
