Hi Guys,

I have started looking for a replacement case for my aging, scratched and dented P180. Important things i want to maintain are sound proofing and size. I'd also like good cable management from the new case. Oh, and it has to look nice too.

Any suggestions?

Lee

I'm in the exact same boat as you Lee, did loads of research and was all set to get the Antec P280. Then Corsair went and threw a spanner in the works by announcing the Corsair Obsidian 550D Quiet Midi Tower Case. Now I've got to wait for the reviews to come out on that one, as looking at the pictures I still prefer the layout inside of the Antec. I think the Corsair looks smarter on the outside, so it's going to come down to which one has the best cooling and acoustic performance :D

Yea it is dusty, whats the best way of getting rid, dust buster can?

I usually give my rig a complete clean every few months, take everything apart and clean what surfaces I can with a hoover, then use a microfiber cloth to get rid of the rest. Compressed air can be helpful on cleaning dust out of individual parts like the mobo or graphics card.

And omg that murderbox looks insanely crisp, want one too

HTPC which will be running XMBC off an USB stick for the time being. Need to tidy up the cables inside and future plans may include a small SSD at some point to replace the USB stick.

I give my camera all the credit! Lol, This is actually the first premium mid tower i have had the opportunity to review. If you think it looks good now just wait till I get my kit in it! This case I actually have some plans to mod after I get some LGA 2011 parts, this will be quite a bit different though I'm thinking green this time.

Alright so i dont know if anyone remembers when put in a coolermaster 200mm fan in the front. I now want to buy another to put in the top xD
Anyway heres my case as it is now, tell me what you think :)

Is the coolermaster fan any quieter than the stock ones? Just got one of these cases and the front fan whines quite a bit.

That's what I plan to do when I get my 600T, I have little use for hard drives in my PC nowadays. All my media is on home server and program's and games are on a single 240gb SSD. Then I will use the extra space for more radiators :D

First off nice build Smogsy! why wait for a 2.5" drive bay for an SSD tho when you can just use some double sided foam pads and stick em anywhere you like in your case as they are so light :D thats what i did works a charm
