Autorun USB Flash drive?

My boss is doing a presentation next week and he wants to take a bunch of flash drives containing some of our company videos to give out. I thought it might be nice if we could do a Flash (or whatever) front-end that auto runs when the user inserts the drive into the USB port. Just a menu system to select which video to play, our logo, etc.

Having a quick look around, it seems that there is a difference in the way Windows 7 and XP behave with USB drives that have autorun? Sure enough, I found a free little utility to make a flash drive bootable and it worked in one version of Windows but not the other. I'm starting to think it may be more trouble than it's worth, but thought I would check to see if anybody had any ideas?

Thanks!

generalisation, as a non-security update many people won't have installed this...

The update is marked as Important and will be installed automatically if Windows Update is set to "Install Updates Automatically".
