Phone insurance

Tried a search and couldnt see any specific threads.

I'm just in the process of changing the joint bank accounts which means I will lose the free phone insurance I currently get from Halifax for mine and the other halfs SGS2, What companies do people use and recommend?

Protect my bubble keeps being advertised, never looked at it.

Be make sure you have all documentation for the phone, some companys will not pay out if you don't have proof of ownership/purchase and most don't insure second phones/ones bought off eBay.

protect your bubble wanted around £12 a month just to insure my iphone 4s. i think that their prices are a bit over the top. its just a phone after all.

Cheapest option probably would be to add it to your home insurance if you can.

Assuming you aren't changing account because of problems you've had with Halifax, it may end up being economical to keep your URCA going with a small balance in it, or keep £1000 going into it per month (to get the £5 reward) and then moving the £1k into your new account, thereby getting both phones insured plus all the other bits and bobs for effectively a tenner a month.
