I've been at this all day trying to book a Hotel for my family when we come to London in April, obviously I'm trying to find the best one on a budget but I feel lost with it all after spending hours looking.

I think I've narrowed it down to two, can anyone advise me which would be the best or alternatively suggest another one.

My details are arrive 8th April check out 12th April (4 nights)
2 adults, 2 kids (5 & 8).
Budget £600 max really and breakfast if possible.

I've found:
Holiday Inn City (275 Old Street) inc breakfast £508
Holiday Inn Victoria (106 Belgrave Road) inc breakfast £600

Thanks :)

Everything's a rip-off, so just go for a chain who have the best rates.

Use expedia, hotels.com or similar.

How about the budget chains such as Travelodge or PremierInn. Also depends on whether you want central (zone 1) or don't mind bus/tube ride away (zone 2-3)

For a start, both of those are "Express by" so they are akin to travel lodges and such. What are you doing in london. Those two are quite central and have good access to transport and shops. I've done business with both through my line of work :). Have you looked at managed apartments, they *may* come in under budget.
