Hey Guys

I currently have a i5 2500k with GTX480 that I use for gaming etc.

Now I am looking for something cheap, small and efficient to act as a PC for basically browsing, downloading, streaming and burning discs.

I already have an SSD, 1TB HDD, Burner, 4gb XMS3 ram and Win 7 64bit. So just need the other stuff :)

So I was hoping for a little help from all you knowledgable lot as I am totally out of touch with whats new, good etc. Just needs to be fairly nippy and run win 7 64 ok. i am also open to GPU's if they are not too expensive and offer a fair perforamnce boost as I could play some games on it.

Thanks in advance

If you wanted better graphics then yes perhaps :)

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte GA-A75M-UD2H AMD A75 (Socket FM1) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £69.38
1 x AMD Llano A4-3300 2.50GHz (Socket FM1) APU Processor (AD3300OJGXBOX) £46.99
1 x Corsair Builder Series CX 430W V2 '80 Plus' Power Supply (CMPSU-430CXUKV2) £34.99
1 x Fractal Design Core 1000 Midi Tower Case - Black £32.99
Total : £199.36 (includes shipping : £12.50).

Llano is quite good for light gaming.

Or perhaps the first option and find a second hand GPU?

Ok cool, what about a smaller case as ideally I want to put this in my living room under the tv. It needs to be girl friendly and hold ssd, 3.5 hdd and burner. Or is the one in the lust as small as it gets??

Thanks

It wouldn't no:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Silverstone Sugo 6 Case with a 300W PSU - Silver (SST-SG06S) £89.99
1 x Gigabyte A75N-USB3 AMD A75 (Socket FM1) DDR3 mini ITX Motherboard £74.99
1 x AMD Llano A4-3300 2.50GHz (Socket FM1) APU Processor (AD3300OJGXBOX) £46.99
Total : £226.07 (includes shipping : £11.75).

They do a black version I'm sure but OCUK don't seem to have it - I used to have one and I think they're great :)
BTW, I'm not too hot on these Llano CPUs, you might want to look at some reviews and see if a more expensive one is worth it

Ah yes I always forget the Thermaltake stuff!

It has 1 internal HDD, and 1 external so you can probably put the SSD in there :)
Plus is has space for a DVD burner yes.

Quite a bit cheaper, good find :)

Just to throw a spanner in the works would anyone recommend I go i3 2120 with a gpu?? I am wondering is it worth the extra ££ to give me the option to play some games.
