We've got absolutely loads on here.
I know of 3 Doctors, several Nurses, 2 Paramedics, Mental Health Nurses and a few more.

I work in the Clinical Negligence department (also Inquests) dealing with claims against the Trust.

Staff nurse at a central London hospital.

Deffo a few doc's, nurses and paramedics on the forum, they come out of the woodwork in the odd medical related thread.

Any recommendations on medical blogs? I read the following (but am interested in adding some well written ones to my list);

http://head-nurse.blogspot.co.uk/ is a Texan neuro ITU nurse

http://traumaqueen.net/ is an Edinburgh paramedic

I also used to read Tom Reynolds (Brian Kellett) before he went back to nursing.

ODP is what my wife has done since graduating a year and a half ago. She specialises in neurosurgery though I understand there's many different areas you can explore in this profession and it can open up so many different doors as well. :)

My mum is an Occupational Therapist. Before that she was a nurse for over 10 years.

Thought doctors were one of the few professions we had fewer of.

I've got an odd gripe with OTs. Nothing against your mother, just I lived in a flat with three OTs last year who continually complained about their 'workload' and frankly compared to others it seemed quite light... Again it might be the people rather than the degree, but it bugged me that their degree was paid for, and they basically have a job at the other end whilst complaining about a degree that was mediocre in difficulty at best....

Support worker in Mental Health Unit.

Supporting patients with those things that aren't medical but stop them being discharged. Most of the time this is helping them find accommodation or prevent homelessness, and making sure they have some income from benefits ready for discharge, and also putting into place some plan to deal with the debts that have often driven them into the loony bin in the first place.

Can include anything though. Can't go into any detail obviously but rest assured all of humanity is there.
