For those of you using two SSDa, do you also have a large storage drive for the files created etc?
Would you typically move these over to one of the SSDs befor editing?

There's room for fast there but I'm pretty happy with that, it seems to be about the standard for this rig.

Download file

Download and install action (actions tab, load action)

Then open file in photoshop and press play on the speed test action that will have appeared, follow onscreen instructions

Just built this system for my sister, just for photoshop. From what i've seen it could go a bit quicker with an overclock, but i'm going to leave it as is for now. When she starts moaning that its slow, then i'll overclock it :)

Just had a new computer at the studio so will be having a go of this now :) Still runnung CS2 though.

EDIT : 4:20 :o Why so slow?!

However photoshop preferences showa available Ram as 2786mb with 50% used by photoshop

**As you can see I don't know much about computer hardware or how to find out some of the extra info you've posted but suprised at how slow this is compared to some of yours**
