Beautiful Demoiselle

Long tailed *** at lunch.

Wildlife is about all I do, lack the creativity of others!
Thanks Rojin for the chance to show these shots and see those of others.

-snip-

I love that picture might not be technically perfect but the uniqness factor alone makes it worth a dozen pin sharp robins on perfectly blured green backgrounds!

One from me, taken in the Amazon this summer.

Rojin, that lion is amazing.

One from me, taken in the Amazon this summer.

What kind of monkey is that, where about in the Amazon were you?

Black rhino mother and her calf, Madikwe, S.Africa.
They were far too interested in us for comfort and kept us waiting on the road for half an hour before getting bored and moving off into the bush.
As we drove slowly past them we were charged by another hidden male rhino, probably also her son.
Only my wife being quick witted saved us from disaster.

It's an Uakari Monkey allthough it's commonly called a red faced monkey for obvious reasons. We stayed a few days in a lodge upstream from Manaus just a tourist toe dip into the Amazon but it really was amazing and I'd love to go back and see more

Wildlife The_blue style.

Most of these were taken around the underwater volcanic vents on a tiny island of Strombolicchio near Stromboli, Aeolian islands (north of Sicily)

Very nice pictures there The_blue, what gear were you using?

I work as a dive master in Kefalonia and it is always nice to see a Pink flabellina (Flabellina affinis) on a dive, beautiful little creatures.

I think I may have to check out going diving there.

Just a compact! ;)

Well it's a canon G12, ancient Ikelite DS50 flash/strobe and canon housing.

The full manual, RAW and programmable buttons rock!

Are the nudis both the same kind? I assumed it was 2 different.

Anything in Cephalonia worth diving for? Details needed! always looking for the next trip :D

Which company are you with?
